Kindness Keeps You Kool!

Kindness Keeps You Kool!

We all have a choice, and we all have a voice…what matters is how you use both!

You’re late for a meeting, standing in the checkout line and the lady in front of you forgot potatoes, YOU…

  1. Act put out and make it known by huffing, looking at your watch and flailing your arms in disgust?
  2. Start talking to her about carbohydrates and attempt to talk her out of wanting to eat the potatoes, therefor causing her to go ahead and check out so you can get out of there?
  3. Tell her not to worry, you’ll go grab a bag for her then offer to help her out?

We’re pretty sure, we’ve all done each of the 3 choices at some point in our lives, the funny (not so funny) facts are…

No matter which choice you make, you’re still going to be late to your meeting, so why not bless your day rather than make it worse?

Facts Are Facts, Jack!

According to Psychology Today…

Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Affection, gentleness, warmth, concern, and care are words that are associated with kindness. While kindness has a connotation of meaning someone is weak, that is not the case. Being kind often requires courage and strength. Kindness is an interpersonal skill.

Kindness Can Do Wonders For Your Health!

6 Ways being kind can help your health, by Susan Cain

Kindness releases feel-good hormones

Have you ever noticed that when you do something nice for someone else, it makes you feel better too? This isn’t just something that happens randomly—it has to do with the pleasure centers in your brain.

Doing nice things for others releases seratonin, the neurotransmitter responsible for feelings of satisfaction and well-being. Like exercise, altruism also releases endorphins, a phenomenon known as a “helper’s high.”

Kindness eases anxiety

Anxiety is a very common factor in today’s world. While there are several ways to reduce anxiety, such as meditation, exercise, prescription medications, and natural remedies, it turns out that being nice to others can be one of the easiest, most inexpensive ways to keep anxiety at bay.

Being kind can create a positive affect within yourself and lower social anxiety as well.  So, next time you’re feeling anxious, phone a friend and check on them or ask if you can help them out in any way.  Just smiling at someone can help, even the smallest thing can create big results.

Kindness is good for your heart

Making others feel good can “warm” your heart, sure—but being nice to others can also affect the actual chemical balance of your heart.

Kindness releases the hormone oxytocin.  Oxytocin causes the release of a chemical called nitric oxide in blood vessels, which dilates the blood vessels. This reduces blood pressure and therefore oxytocin is known as a ‘cardioprotective’ hormone because it protects the heart (by lowering blood pressure).”

Kindness strengthens your heart physically and emotionally. Maybe that’s why they say nice, caring people have really big hearts?

It can help you live longer

You may be shaking your head at this one, but we’re not just saying this—there’s science to back it up.

According to health.com, you’re at a greater risk of heart disease if you don’t have a strong network of family and friends. When you’re kind to others, you develop strong, meaningful relationships and friendships.

So, go ahead and make some new friends, or expand your kindness and compassion to the ones you already have.

It reduces stress

In our busy, always-on-the-go lives, we’re constantly looking for ways to reduce stress. It may be easier than we think.

Helping others lets you get outside of yourself and take a break from the stressors in your own life, and this behavior can also make you better equipped to handle stressful situations.

Affiliative behavior is any behavior that brings you closer to others. According to a study on the effects of prosocial behavior on stress, “affiliative behavior may be an important component of coping with stress and indicate that engaging in prosocial behavior (action intended to help others) might be an effective strategy for reducing the impact of stress on emotional functioning.”

Kindness prevents Illness

Inflammation in the body is associated with all sorts of health problems such as diabetes, cancer, chronic pain, obesity, and migraines. Adults aged 57-85, “volunteering manifested the strongest association with lower levels of inflammation.” Oxytocin also reduces inflammation, and even little acts of kindness can trigger oxytocin’s release.

Kindness may be the secret sauce to a healthy, happy life. But don’t just take my word for it. Share a smile, make a donation, volunteer, or help others—then let me know how you feel!

It doesn’t matter if you are male or female, if your testosterone is low, YOU are low…period.  This hormone is so important that if you aren’t sufficiently making enough for your system, your system is slowly breaking down.  You don’t have to want to be 25 again, or even look it, but your body CAN feel that way again with proper distribution of T-therapy. It is vital to your vitality to be checked and know what your level is.

Oxytocin

Oxytocin is one of our very favorite products.  Think of your softest, most cuddly blanket fresh out of the dryer on a cold and snowy night…THAT’S what Oxytocin makes you fell like.  It’s the cuddle drug and we sure love to cuddle here at Elite Health (not necessarily with each other), but you get our point.

Oxytocin has the power to regulate our emotional responses and pro-social behaviors, including trust, empathy, gazing, positive memories, processing of bonding cues, and positive communication. Thanks to oxytocin, we get a toasty, tranquil feeling whenever we’re with the people we care about.

Sermorelin

We say YES! To Sermorelin…ALWAYS!  It’s really just a DUH!  This peptide is so ridiculously wonderful, we think it should be given out daily at the White House…

OK, we won’t talk politics, but we WILL get political over Sermorelin.  It is The Great Healer and can’t help but have you feeling so good, people will sing, “Here Comes The Sun,” upon your arrival.  Vote Sermorelin for Prez!!!

CJC-1295

Remember learning about your pituitary gland in science class in the 5th grade?  No! That’s ok, we can give you the Cliff’s notes version.  Basically, the little guy is pretty important and when he’s fed, he acts right and enhances all kinds of things.  When he’s not well taken care of, a lot of things shut down or stop working properly.  CJC-1295 feeds the pituitary gland and helps it release the growth hormones we had and loved when we were teens.

It helps …

  • Increase muscle growth and bone density.
  • Improve cognitive function and memory.
  • Ignites cellular repair and regeneration.
  • Reduce Fat
  • Stabilize the Thyroid Gland.
  • Balance hormones

BPC-157

Your stomach is the center of the Universe, or at least your body’s universe.  When things aren’t sailing smoothly, everything gets backed up and causes a nightmare for your organs.  Your liver becomes toxic, while your kidneys can’t keep up, leading to gallbladder pain, kidney stones and obesity.  This little capsule can help get all of that under control because it heals your digestive tract.  Try a month for yourself and we can bet you never want to stop blessing your body with BPC!

Glutathione

What DOESN’T it do?  It can cure certain cancers, and cleanse the liver all while helping your skin regain it’s youthful glow.  We’re not kidding.  Glutathione is an antioxidant produced in cells. It’s comprised largely of three amino acids: glutamine, glycine, and cysteine.

Glutathione levels in the body may be reduced by a number of factors, including poor nutrition, environmental toxins, and stress. Its levels also decline with age.

In addition to being produced naturally by the body, glutathione can be given intravenously, topically, or as an inhalant. It’s also available as an oral supplement in capsule and liquid form. However, it is used best as intravenous delivery for some conditions.

Lipoden and B-12

Lipoden contains B-12 along with a few other fun additives such as:

  • vitamin B-6.
  •  B complex.
  • Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs)
  • L-carnitine.
  • MIC (a combination of methionine, inositol, and choline)

This handy little home treatment not only increases your energy level, it can even help you drop a few pounds.
