Dr. Kevin Shelton was born in Whittier, California and raised in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University. Following his undergraduate years, he attended Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center and earned his PhD in Biochemistry. He then attended Oklahoma University School of Medicine for his internship and residency in Family Medicine. He volunteered his time for 5 years serving patients at Good Shepherd Clinic in Ardmore Oklahoma while working for a Family Practice as Medical Director.

Dr. Shelton has been Medical Director and a Lead Medical Provider focused in overall health, wellness and disease prevention since 2002. He has also supported first res-ponders, athletes and body builders across North Texas since 2009. Dr. Shelton and his wife Stephanie, a board certified Nurse Practitioner, have spent these years identifying the need for more focus on prevention and wellness as it relates to individuals seeking optimal health. They emphasize diet, exercise, hormone balance and supplementation as the method to build an ideal functional lifestyle. Dr. Shelton believes in the importance of restoring optimal health to his patients, which leads to a more productive life free from unnecessary drugs. Dr. Shelton has been featured on radio discussing the importance of hormone balance for both men and women. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family.
