Benefits of EvexiPEL Method Therapy for Women

Research consistently shows that subcutaneous bio-identical hormone replacement therapy with pellets may be a superior method for balancing hormones in women, it’s also more convenient.

Address the Symptoms of Menopause Naturally with BHRT Pellets (Estrogen AND Testosterone)

As women age, estrogen production in the ovaries gradually declines over time, eventually leading to menopause. What many women don’t realize is that their testosterone levels may become imbalanced earlier in life, often 10-15 years before estrogen decline. Low testosterone levels may also contribute to increased risk of many chronic disease states such as depression, diabetes, heart disease, elevated cholesterol, osteoporosis, and many others.

Optimizing estrogen and testosterone with pellet therapy has been shown to provide superior results compared to other forms of hormone replacement therapy. Unlike synthetic hormones, the natural, plant-based hormone pellets metabolize in the body, just the way nature intended.

Increased Risk for Certain Diseases and Health Conditions

Imbalanced hormones in women may increase the risk of certain diseases and health conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis, certain cancers, and others. As we are seeing hormone imbalances in younger and younger women due to stress levels, the environment and the foods we eat, age is not a factor that should prevent women from getting checked out any longer.

Consequently, women who are experiencing any of the symptoms above (at any age, and even women without any symptoms) should see a practitioner who specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy to see if their hormone levels are out of sync.

THREE STAGES OF MENOPAUSE

Stage 1:
Peri-Menopause

Begins in a woman’s 40s-50s when the ovaries start producing less estrogen and estrogen levels fluctuate. This time can last anywhere from 2-8 years, and symptoms include irregular periods, insomnia, night sweats, hot flashes, mood disorders, depression, weight gain, hair becoming brittle and more.

Stage 2:
Menopause

A woman is diagnosed with menopause after she has without a period for 12 consecutive months. Technically, menopause exists as one day, the time after a woman has not had a period for 12 months is considered post-menopause.

Stage 3:
Post-Menopause

The time of life after menopause. Symptoms experienced during the menopause transition may continue. Postmenopausal women may experience a waning of symptoms over time but due to low levels of estrogen may be at increased risk for diseases like osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s disease, heart disease, certain cancers, and more.

Optimizing hormones has been shown to be highly beneficial in treating and preventing many chronic disease states and health conditions in men and women.

Metabolic syndrome is a combination of several health conditions – elevated blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess fat around the waist and high levels of triglycerides. Unbalanced hormones can contribute to, and worsen, all of these conditions. By optimizing testosterone, BHRT can reduce the risk for and treat metabolic syndrome.

While a number of different thyroid disorders exist, the most common is sub-clinical hypothyroidism, where the thyroid gland produces an adequate amount of thyroid hormone, but the body cannot get the hormone into the cells to do the work. This can be caused by toxicity, faulty receptors and inadequate thyroid hormone metabolism and often responds well to detox protocols and adequate nutrient supplementation.

When more severe, thyroid can also be supplemented to alleviate symptoms of hypothyroidism such as fatigue, pain, cold sensitivity, constipation, dry skin, hair loss, weight gain, depression and more.

A healthy body continually replaces old bone tissue with new. More common in women than men, osteoporosis is a condition where the creation of new bone isn’t keeping step with bone loss, causing bones to become brittle and weak. Estrogen is essential for bone health, but so is testosterone. Many studies have shown using testosterone may increase the bone production up to three-fold over estrogen alone.

Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive condition where brain cells degenerate and die, erasing the memories stored inside those cells at the same time. While the cause of Alzheimer’s is still up for debate, research suggests that imbalanced hormones may play a role. Several studies have revealed the impact both estrogen and testosterone play in Alzheimer’s prevention, and that is key – prevention. Once the degeneration has begun, there is little modern medicine has found to reverse the damage. Bringing hormones into balance with BHRT – along with emotional support – may help prevent and minimize the impact of the disease.

Heart disease encompasses a number of conditions including high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, cardiovascular disease (narrow or blocked blood vessels), heart arrhythmias, congenital heart defects and other irregularities of the heart’s muscle, valves or rhythm. Estrogen has been shown to be protective of the coronary system, but only in balance – too much is not good, nor is too little. Testosterone, however, is emerging as a key player in the prevention of heart disease – in both men and women. BHRT along with exercise and a proper diet that limits sugar and processed foods, as well as increased intake of certain key nutrients and supplements, may greatly reduce the risk of heart disease.

The three most common forms of diabetes include: type 1 (body doesn’t produce insulin), type 2 (body doesn’t use insulin properly) and gestational (body doesn’t produce or use all of the insulin needed during pregnancy). Insulin is a hormone that works in conjunction with other hormones in the body. Optimizing hormones with BHRT may help the body utilize insulin more efficiently. One way this has been shown to work is that testosterone may exhibit a direct impact on lowering cortisol levels; elevated cortisol levels increase insulin sensitivity and risk of type 2 diabetes.

Parkinson’s (PD) is a progressive disease of the nervous system known to cause slowing of movement, tremors, stiffness and speech problems among other symptoms. Dopamine-producing neurons in part of the brain gradually die in PD patients, causing abnormal brain activity and PD symptoms. Risk factors for PD may include genetics, gender (men are at higher risk, as estrogen seems to have a protective effect for women) and exposure to environmental toxins. Women with low estrogen levels may consider BHRT with estrogen pellets to reduce the risk for PD.

Post-traumatic stress disorder is a mental health condition that can occur following a traumatic experience and may cause severe anxiety, depression, nightmares, flashbacks and negative behavioral changes. There is a direct correlation between PTSD and low testosterone. BHRT delivers a steady stream of hormones, which has been shown to keep mood swings, depression and anxiety at bay in this population.

Most women experience declining production of estrogen and testosterone as they age. Imbalance of both of these hormones can lead to loss of libido, difficulty achieving arousal or orgasm, vaginal dryness, painful intercourse, as well as an increased frequency of urinary tract infections (UTIs). BHRT with pellets may help women regain sexual health and desire.

When a woman undergoes a hysterectomy, the uterus is surgically removed, as well as the cervix, ovaries and/or fallopian tubes, depending upon the type of hysterectomy performed. Hysterectomy may be recommended to treat gynecologic cancer, uterine fibroids, uterine prolapse, endometriosis, abnormal vaginal bleeding and/or chronic pelvic pain. Following hysterectomy, menopause and the associated symptoms set in quickly, due to the removal hormone producing organs. BHRT with pellets can replace the hormones no longer being produced to alleviate symptoms and prevent diseases and conditions related to hormone imbalance.
