    Dr. Ayesha Kanwal grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and received her medical degree from UNTHSC-TCOM in 2009. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Metrohealth Medical Center and her rheumatology fellowship at University Hospitals Medical Center. Both programs are associated with the prestigious Case Western Reserve University located in Cleveland, Ohio.

    After completing her fellowship in the summer of 2014, she worked in Midland, Texas, as the sole rheumatologist for the area from February 2015 until February 2017. During her time there, she saw over 3,000 patients annually with almost every rheumatologic condition.
