Nancy Scheinost, MD trained at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in Scottsdale Arizona. Dr. Sheinost then completed a fellowship in Rheumatology at UCSD in San Diego.

Dr. Scheinost has been in private practice for the past 24 years. She started her training in Functional Medicine in 2010 and after 5 years. In 2014, Nancy Scheinost, MD became one of the few certified Functional Medicine practitioners in Rheumatology through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Dr. Scheinost got into to medicine because she believes with all her heart that my gift is to help people. She started her journey into Functional Medicine because she wants to educate and empower people how to take great care of themselves with her help. This new direction to practicing Functional Medicine came about because she had come to realize that the kind of medicine that is currently being practiced does not get to the root cause of the diagnosis and is focused on treating symptoms.

Nancy Scheinost, MD specialties are Autoimmune and Inflammatory conditions. But in general, Dr. Scheinost will see anyone who does feel well has an underlying inflammatory condition.
