About: Naturopathic, doctorate prepared registered nurse Julie Clowers believes the Lord has been preparing her for a career in nursing for most of her life. As a little girl, she remembers going to the farm with her mom to buy raw milk. She breastfed both of her boys and delayed vaccinations, without really having a “reason” other than “good ole’ common sense.” Julie comes from a family with multiple immune deficiencies and chronic infections. When traditional allopathic (medical) medicine failed to resolve her family’s chronic issues and side effects, she searched for alternative therapies. Her family’s lives changed after ridding their diets of processed foods and focusing on clean meats and non-GMO, organic foods. The family eventually started taking homeopathic and herbal remedies and weaning off all chemical prescriptive medications. Julie dove into educating herself about alternative therapies and getting certified in many advanced therapies.  Her family also owns a pesticide-free and chemical-free farm just east of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. “Our animals are raised in the pasture, the way God intended. God has led me down this incredible road, and it is my privilege to honor Him in all that I do,” Julie says.
