About: Dr. Luis Gorospe is a noted surgeon who has been serving patients in the Tulsa area for more than 30 years. Dr. Gorospe completed his surgical residency at the Oklahoma University College of Medicine and taught surgery as a professor in the medical schools of both OU and OSU. He was the first surgeon in Oklahoma to perform a gastric bypass surgery and the first physician in Oklahoma to attain membership in the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons.

Dr. Gorospe is trained in advanced bio-identical hormone replacement and pellet therapy. Under his care, many men and women have experienced an improved quality of life and health due to hormone optimization. Dr. Gorospe also performs platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for the treatment of joints, O-Shot for women, P-Shot for men, IV nutrient therapy and medical weight loss. A 6th degree black belt in Judo and Jujitsu, Dr. Gorospe credits his own 10-year experience with hormone therapy with the role that Judo and Jujitsu continue play in his very active life. Dr. Gorospe has been happily married for more than 40 years, and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and two grandchildren.
