Sheila Bardwell, DNP, AGACNP-BC

Sheila Bardwell is nationally certified in Adult and Gerontology Acute Care. She studied the aging process in depth and applies this knowledge to treat the effects that aging has on the body. Sheila is an accomplished Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine. Prior to attending graduate school, Sheila worked as a Registered Nurse in a local hospital for 15 years, managing several cardiovascular units. Her passion for Functional Medicine began in her own search for answers to personal health issues. After her own struggles and nursing numerous patients, she was determined to master the science of determining the “root cause” of symptoms, thus leading her next steps into a career in functional medicine. Her combination of clinical education and her passion provide a strong foundation for the kind of holistic approach to functional medicine that considers not only the physical aspects of a patient’s wellbeing, but the emotional and spiritual aspects as well.
