Tani is the owner and founder of Mariposa Family Medicine. She has been a critical care nurse for over 22 years, having achieved her nursing education through independent study and years of clinical experience in the Emergency Room, Intensive Care and clinical instructor for both EMS and Nursing. She graduated from the University of St. Francis in 2015 with a Master of Nursing degree and is board certified in Family Practice.  She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and New Mexico Nurse Practitioner Council. She started Mariposa Family Medicine to provide comprehensive care with a focus on individualized high quality of care while fostering better patient- provider relationships. She is the mother of two boys Max and Sam, and is married to Josh an electrical engineer. She enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Harley and cat Bender if he allows it.
