Sarah Carson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Louisiana State University, then went on to complete a second Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Louisiana. She worked as an RN in a variety of settings including medical-surgical, kidney transplant, cardiac unit and ER. She then decided to pursue her Master’s degree in Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin in 2011, where she graduated with honors.

Sarah believes that the journey to healing begins with empowering clients to make healthy lifestyle choices, by educating them on the role of diet, exercise and stress management in their health. Her passion for wellness and a more holistic approach to the prevention, root cause and management of chronic disease led her to pursue a career in Functional Medicine. In the spring of 2019, Sarah completed her certification and is an Institute of Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner. She is excited to offer bio-identical hormone replacement at Whole Health Chiropractic and looks forward to assisting clients on their journey to health and optimal wellness.
