    About: Dr. Jennifer Yap finished her undergraduate studies at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, and soon after completed a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University in New York focusing on wellness and prevention. Inspired to understand disease further, she pursued medical school at University of New England.

    Dr. Yap felt that a significant source of disease in the U.S. was obesity and improper diet, so she went on to Columbia University’s Institute of Human Nutrition Graduate School to understand how to tackle these issues. She finished her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and uses her knowledge of the musculoskeletal system, nutrition, hormones and prevention to perform age-management medicine. Dr. Yap is currently doing a fellowship at A4M in Integrative Medicine. She focuses on weight management, hormone balance, movement and proper supplementation. In addition, she has had extensive training in lasers, skincare, Botox and fillers to complement health and beauty on the inside as well as the outside.
