Congratulations to Glenda Brungardt of Hewlett Packard on being awarded the inaugural Exhibit Manager of the Year Award at the 2012 Red Diamond Congress event in Chicago.<\/p>\n

Glenda is the Tradeshow\/Event Marketing Program Manager for HP Imaging and Printing Group and has been involved in the event industry for over 23 years. Nominated by Kris Knight of Splash! San Francisco, Glenda is described as \u201cpure focus when it comes to the details of a show and knows exactly when to step back for a big picture view.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glenda has also been praised for her ability to share her experiences and willingness to teach whoever asks for advice or direction. She was instrumental in implementing green practices at all levels of her exhibit properties and has been showcased in Exhibitor Magazine on how to automate show measurement.<\/p>\n

In addition to a custom EMY crystal trophy, a check for $500 has been sent in her name to her designated charity, The Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department<\/font><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Exhibit Manager of the Year Award was created by The Expo Group to honor unsung heroes of the event and exhibit marketing world. Demonstrating value, marketplace engagement and multi-channel initiatives are among the criteria that are subjectively judged by an independent panel of industry notables.<\/p>\n

Glenda was one of five finalists for the award, including Emily Buffum \u2013 Iron Mountain, Sue Huff \u2013 Medtronic, Francesca Lendrum \u2013 Nokia Location and Commerce, and Keith Wetherall \u2013 Volvo Car Corporation.<\/p>\n
