2014 Exhibit Marketer of the Year Michael D. Lynn<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Chicago, Illinois \u2013 July 29, 2014 \u2013 The Expo Group is pleased to announce the third annual The Expo Group Exhibit Marketer of the Year Award was presented last night to Michael D. Lynn of L-3 Communications at the E2MA Red Diamond Congress Awards Gala.<\/p>\n

Michael, a veteran of the events industry, is the Director of Exhibitions, Events & Protocol for Aerospace Systems Division for L-3 Communications.\u00a0\u00a0 From executing memorable experiences for his customers to implementing cost savings for his company, Michael exemplifies the well-rounded individual that consistently gives back and promotes the event industry.\u00a0 He is also part of a small group of individuals to receive 6 industry-specific certifications including CEM, CMP and CTSM just to name a few.<\/p>\n

In addition to a custom EMY crystal trophy, a check for $500 has been sent in his name to his designated charity, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation<\/a>, in honor of his grandson, Ian Carpenter, who is living with cystic fibrosis.<\/p>\n

The Exhibit Marketer of the Year Award was created by The Expo Group in 2012 to honor unsung heroes of the event and exhibit marketing world. Demonstrating value, marketplace engagement and multi-channel initiatives are among the criteria that are reviewed by the award\u2019s independent panel of judges.<\/p>\n

Another signature awards event, The Expo Group Show Manager of the Year award, now in its 13^{th<\/sup>\u00a0year, will be presented in November.<\/p>\n}
