Dr. Kooyman received his degree D.P.M. from California College of Podiatric Medicine. He received his residency training from Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center while he was in the Army. He then went on to complete his fellowship in reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at the American Health Network of Indiana, and is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Wound Care.
He is passionate about implementing his skills in surgical podiatry and wound care to heal the wound and address the core problem with the foot.
When Dr. Kooyman is not working, he likes to compete in the Iron Man competition and spend quality time with his family.
