In response to the COVID-19 crisis., on March 29, 2020 TCF Center was designated by Governor Gretchen Whitmer, State of Michigan and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as a temporary alternate care facility in Detroit. The Expo Group assisted in providing inventory to help with the conversion.
