(March 9, 2020) Udutu, a Victoria based company that provides global online learning solutions, is offering a free online tutorial to educate people about COVID-19 (the disease caused by the novel coronavirus) including what it is, what you should do to prevent getting it, and what to do if you think you have it.

The fact-based, practical tutorial provides key information and busts common myths by readily sharing COVID 19 content from a variety of expert sources including the Centre for Disease Control, World Health Organization, John Hopkins University, and Health Canada.

The multi-media course takes about 20 minutes to complete and includes quick quizzes to ensure learners understand the content.

“One of our clients asked us to develop this course, and we quickly decided that given the current levels of concern and potential for misinformation, we should offer the course free to any organizations or person,” says Roger Mundell, Udutu CEO.  “It is critical that this information gets shared and offering to as a free online tutorial fits our business philosophy to make online training affordable and accessible.”

The tutorial was created in a SCORM format, which means it can be downloaded by any organization for use in any Learning Management System (LMS) to allow them to instantly offer, monitor and track employee completion using web-based tools.  It can be downloaded, or accessed for free by anyone who is interested, at udutu.com.
